Just a kitten having kittens…
Young and petite, Sunshine was barely out of kittenhood when she gave birth to 5 kittens underneath the back steps of a building in the 100 block of Orange Avenue.
She nursed the kittens and took as good of care of them as she could for three or four weeks before a good Samaritan brought the family into the Coronado Animal Care Facility.
The kittens were enrolled in our Itty Bitty Kitty Program and are in a foster home until they are old enough to be spayed and neutered before being released for adoption.
But Sunshine is all ready for her loving home.
This beautiful girl has a personality that is like a ray of sunshine. She is super affectionate and just loves people, saying hello and soliciting pets by rolling, nuzzling and allorubbing.
Sunshine is still young and enjoys playing like any teen cat.
If you are looking for an active cat that will entertain you and then cuddle up to you, Sunshine is the purrfect feline for you!
Come meet Sunshine at the Coronado Animal Care Facility any day between 9:00am and 4:00pm (except holidays). The Coronado Animal Care Facility is located at 1395 First Street at the south end of the Ferry Landing complex.
