The California Department of Transportation has issued a permit for filming on the San Diego-Coronado Bridge from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 23. The toll plaza will be the base for the crew and the vehicles being filmed. The California Highway Patrol will escort outbound traffic on Fourth Street from Orange Avenue to the toll plaza and hold it for approximately two minutes while the outgoing bridge traffic clears and the filming can begin. Once the filming begins, the traffic will be allowed to proceed over the bridge. Traffic will be allowed to flow between takes. Inbound traffic will not be impacted. Caltrans employees will begin the lane switchover from inbound three lanes to outbound three lanes at 8:30 a.m. to accommodate the filming schedule.
