Looking to
extend your child's summer learning in fun, creative classes taught by
CUSD teachers at an average cost of just $8/hour? CSF is again offering
Coronado Summer Enrichment during a three-week program, June 12 to July
3. "Whether your child is going into kindergarten, 6th or 9th grades,
or preparing for the SAT or college essay, we have a class for you,"
noted Kathy Shady, Summer Enrichment Principal and Village 4th grade teacher with her administrative credential. "We also have a Leadership Enrichment Program for students entering 7th through 10th grades where they will work with teachers in the classroom and gain valuable leadership skills as well," she added.
With classes like Rock Band, Ceramics, Be a Kidgeneer!, Slam Dunk Basketball, Guitar and Spanish, most of the classes are interdisciplinary with a STEAM theme and are two hours in length, 8 am to 10 am or 10 am to 12 noon. CSF has again partnered with the Coronado Recreation Center for families needing afternoon childcare.
Visit www.CoronadoEnrichment.org or come to the CSF office today, 201 Sixth Street to register. A limited number of scholarships are available with forms available on the website.
