There is an easy solution at the stop light at 10th Street and Orange Avenue so cars can move on through, and not be backed up for two very long light changes. It has been determined that the parking meters/spots there cannot be removed for additional room, but moving the center line over about 18" leaves plenty of room for two lanes of cars approaching and one lane departing Orange. By doing so, the right lane on 10th can be for right turns, and the middle for left turns and straight ahead. There is more than enough room, and traffic can clear out on 10th much more quickly. This idea was submitted in writing to the Traffic Board a long time ago, but evidently turned down with no other solutions in sight? Why?!
