San Diego Floral Association’s April Meeting will feature Debra Prinzing, author of “The Fifty Mile Bouquet—Local,
Seasonal and Sustainable Flowers" and a new one just published, “Slow
Flowers—Channel your Inner Flower Designer".
Debra will present a program that will teach you how to create seasonal
bouquets from local flower farmers, friends' gardens and your own backyard. She shows how each season has its own
botanical character and she will demonstrate how to use” green design” in your
arrangements and will share her abundant knowledge gleaned from her
own experience with seasonal and sustainable flowers. Her program will be visually beautiful including
both slides and a demonstration of her
“green design” techniques.
