At the next meeting of the Historic Resource Commission — on Wednesday, April 3rd — HRC Commissioners (Courtenay McGowen | Susan Keith | Jon Ryan | David Gillingham | William Wilson) will decide the fate of two more Coronado homes.
There will be two public hearings:
EDITOR'S NOTE: 825 C Avenue (on the right) is a "twin". Whatever is decided for 825 C Avenue will most likely affect the fate of 823 C Avenue (on the left).
NOI 2013-09 JAMES KELLY AND AMY WARRICK: Request for a Notice of Intent to Demolish Permit for the single family residence addressed as 825 C Avenue and located in the R-3 (Multiple Family Residential) Zone.
NOI 2013-10 HAKES
FAMILY TRUST: Request for a Notice of
Intent to Demolish Permit for the single family residence addressed as 827 E
Avenue and located in the R-3 (Multiple Family Residential) Zone.
The HRC Meeting will be held in the Coronado City Hall Council Chambers — located at 1825 Strand Way — at 3pm.
Oh, goody, more billy boxes, more cookie cutter, two story, narrow, multi-unit condos. Just what we need. Drive across I, soon we will be calling I Ave. billy box lane. It is pathetic, the charm of Coronado is quickly being eaten up by the developers that only have money in mind.
PLEASE, please, PLEASE say NO.
