The Reception, catered by Palm Academy (refreshments and light hors d'oeuvres), is at 6:30pm with the Program starting at 7:00pm/ending at 8:30. As many of you know, Peacemaker Awards is the highlight of Take My Hand, Coronado! – A Weeklong Celebration of Peace in Human Relationships (celebrated by students from CUSD, Sacred Heart Parish School and Christ Church Day School). This year’s theme is Random Acts of Kindness, well represented in this year’s winning poster by Viola Sode, student at Sacred Heart Parish School. Mayor Tanaka will be honoring Ms. Sode and the other nine awardees at the February 7th City Council meeting. You will have the opportunity to view all ten placing posters and hopefully meet the artists at the Peacemaker Awards.
