San Diego is home to more craft breweries that any other county in California and it is the nation’s most award-winning county for craft brewing. At the 2010 World Beer Cup, San Diego brewers brought home total of 21 medals from 90 beer style categories, which was more than Germany, Belgium and the United Kingdom, or any of the other 43 countries that competed.
So what could be more appropriate than to publish a book which takes you on a personal tour of 18 award-winning breweries, some of San Diego’s hottest craft beer bars and more than two dozens beer-inspired recipes. And we are planning a fun evening – with appearances of a brewer or two – and of course a taste of their beers . . . sort of a Happy Hour!
