CCS Mission Statement

Farewell, Magnificent Fin Whale

 
The deceased fin whale and her unborn calf who graced us briefly with their presence is one of the saddest events in my memory.  I am uplifted by the respect demonstrated by those who skillfully removed her remains from the rocks and towed her to Mission Bay.  My expectations for the future of mankind were enhanced by the skillful necropsy performed and the reverence shown by those blessed souls who respectfully towed the pair to their final resting place at sea.


Many thanks to all who participated in this mission.
