Each day, I would suggest that the Coronado Police Department update a "Coronado Neighborhood Crime Report" that residents can reach by e-mail listing burglaries and other neighborhood crimes throughout Coronado with the "date, street block, and crime committed" so that residents can be prepared for such events at their home, and make the necessary preparations, such as: locks on gates, windows, motion lights, an alarm system, even home made by assembling parts. Someone should volunteer in each block to publish a Neighborhood Watch List with resident names, addresses, phone numbers and e-mail addresses, if desired by residents, so that each home can keep an eye on the neighbors' yards and call any neighbor where they see any suspicious activity taking place, or to ask for help, if needed. It works, and has been in effect on our block on Cabrillo for over 20 years, before computers.

P.S. Jerry Toci on Balboa has established an e-mail list in his neighborhood in Country Club area, already.
